MILLENNIUM CHALLENGE CORPORATION WARNED OF POSSIBLE AID SUSPENSION TO ARMENIA
- Ambassador John J. Danilovich, Chief Executive Officer for the Millennium Challenge Corporation, has sent a letter to warn of possible suspension of aid to Armenia, President Robert Kocharian told a news conference today. “Of course, we would not like the program to be frozen but if the If the U.S. takes the decision, Armenia will anyway implement its plans with assistance of other organizations, particularly, the Lincy Foundation, Hayastan All-Armenian Fund and other donors. Although, the U.S. has not arrived at a decision yet,” he said. Asked to comment on absence of a congratulatory message from U.S. President George W. Bush on Serzh Sargsyan’s election President of Armenia, Mr Kocharian said, “It’s not surprising. In 2003, I received a congratulatory address on April 10, after the inauguration. And, after all, we do not hold elections to be approved or disapproved by anyone.”

Levon, It is an undoubted fact that the members of the governing regime
besides being corrupted they resemble a bucket without a bottom. Unfortunately, the financial assistance offered by western countries for the development of the country's infrastructure is robbed by this regime together with the limited wealth which is produced by the hard work of the people in the country. The day will come that we will hear on the personal and family wealth of these bandits and I am afraid it will not be shy relatively speaking, than the magnitude of the robbery carried out
over the years from ex-latin american, african and asian dictators.
It is also provocative to say the least, the way this brutal regime is mocking its financial donors. What a big mouth!!! what an the arrogance!!! of rk. This is the classical attitude used by coward little dictators whose might is built on brutal beatings, kidnaps, arrests, torture, intimidation, murders, electroshock, guns, tanks etc. and not on the democratic free will of its people. I am afraid with this regime in power, the worst for Armenia and its proud PEOPLE is still ahead of them.- Levon
