106 ARRESTED OVER YEREVAN DISORDERS
- 106 persons arrested in the framework of criminal case on disorders in Yerevan on March 1. There are no women and minors among those detained and arrested, said Sona Truzyan, a spokesperson for the RA prosecutor general’s office. “According to the operating legislation, participation in riots is not a criminal offence. Only those accused of attempt of accroachment, illegal purchase and storage of weapons will be arrested,” she said. A working group was formed to inform the population and media of the investigation results, Ms. Truzyan said.
