RA MP SASOUN MIKAELYAN DETAINED
- Armenian parliament member Sasoun Mikaelyan, was detained on March 12, RA prosecutor general’s spokesperson Sona Truzyan said. Mikaelyan is charged of organization of disorders and forcible upheaval. The interrogation of Mikaelyan will be conducted in presence of his lawyer.

For instigating armed attacks against the law enforcement personnel? For creating disorder and chaos in the society?

I don't think so. The law should deal with him and his co-conspirators with a heavy hand!
Of course, lets 'punish' him. In fact lets punish everyone of the 500,000 people who showed up in the freedom movement (I am not saying I am pro LTP). Lets calculate then:
of the 3.8 Million Armenias living in Armenia some 1 Mio has already left the country. That meaves us 2.8.
Say, we punish and send away another 500.000 so that Robert an Serj can continue to 'rull' the country.
That leaves us with 2.3 Mio.
Then I would suggest we shoot and kill all those who did not vote for Serj. Lets say that another 1 Mio.
That will leave us with the true supporters of a great regime: 1.3 Mio people! This will then certainly be a great basis for our Nation.
I don't know any country in the World which has lost 1/3 of its population and still thinks the regime is doing a great job!!!!
I insist, I am NOT defending LTP.
But, common man, defending Robert and Serj is just absurd. - Alex

- 1823 The Turkish-Persian reconciliation treaty was signed in Karin (Erzroom, Western Armenia). Bayazet is again ceded to Turkey.
