KOCHARIAN CONGRATULATED SARGSYAN ON ELECTION PRESIDENT

Armenian President Robert Kocharian congratulated Serzh Sargsyan on victory in the presidential race, the RA leader’s press office reported. The congratulatory message says, in part: “Dear Mr Sargsyan, I wholeheartedly congratulate you on convincing victory in the 2008 presidential election. The votes you received during a free and fair election are the votes given for rapid development of Armenia and democratic reforms. Maintenance of economic growth rate, poverty reduction, fair and final resolution f the Nagrono Karabakh conflict are several of the tasks our nation has charged you with. “I am confident that you will apply your knowledge and skills to achieve these goals. I am confident that your presidency will be remarkable for consolidation of stability and tolerance. Armenia possesses a huge human potential meant to serve for the glory of our Homeland. “I do wish you good health, firmness and strength to serve at the supreme post.”
