U.S. AMBASSADOR TO TURKEY: PKK TARGETS BOMBING EFFECTIVE
- The air strikes on the Kurdish guerilla targets prove efficient and cause serious damage to the PKK, said U.S. Ambassador to Turkey Ross Wilson. “As to the American-Turkish relations, they were extremely interesting last year and will develop in 2008. Both countries will take large-scale measures to combat terrorism. Bombs are not enough. Economic, social and political key factors such as close cooperation with Iran, neutralization of links between terrorists, tracing of financial flows and economic envelopment of southeast Anatolia, should be also put into operation,” Ambassador Wilson said, Sabah reports.
