SIMMONS HOPES NATO CAN CONTRIBUTE TO RESOLUTION OF CONFLICTS IN BLACK SEA REGION
- NATO is ready to contribute to resolution of conflicts in the Black Sea region, NATO’s Special Representative for South Caucasus and Central Asia Robert Simmons said in his address to Enlarged Black Sea Region: Prospects of International and Regional Security international conference. “NATO can play a significant role in establishment of stability in the region,” he said. “Development of cooperation, resolution of energy sources problems and boost of commodity turnover is essential for the region,” he said.
