- 1967 Death of the writer Sstehpan Zoryan. He was born in 1890.
- 1978 Ceremony, in Yerevan, on the 150th Anniversary of the integration of Eastern Armenia in the Russian Empire. Soviet Armenia awarded itsthird Order of Lenin.
