SERGE SARGSYAN OFFERED TO ELABORATE YEREVAN-LONDON MILITARY COOPERATION PROJECT
- Today Secretary of the Security Council at the RA President, Defense Minister Serge Sargsyan met with UK Minister for Europe Jeff Hoon. As RA Defense Minister’s Spokesman, colonel Seyran Shahsuvaryan told PanARMENIAN.Net, UK Ambassador to Armenia Anthony Cantor and RA Ambassador to UK Vahe Gabriyelian were also present at the meeting. The parties discussed the prospects of development of peacekeeping, military education and armed forces’ reformation. To achieve considerable progress Serge Sargsyan offered to elaborate long-term projects of cooperation between the two states. For his part Jeff Hoon voiced readiness to assist in overcoming the obstacles that can occur in the process. The interlocutors also referred to regional security and the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement.
