ARMENIAN AMBASSADOR TO ETHIOPIA PRESENTED CREDENTIALS TO PRESIDENT
Armenian Ambassador to Ethiopia Ruben Karapetyan (residence in Cairo) presented credentials to Ethiopian President Girma Wolde Giorgis, reported the Press Service of the Armenian MFA. During the conversation just after the official ceremony. R. Karapetyan presented the point of view of the Armenian party over strengthening bilateral political, economic and cultural cooperation to Ethiopian President. The parties noted the need to activate trade and economic cooperation between Armenia and Ethiopia. During the meeting the parties also discussed matters of historical Armenian-Ethiopian ties and the presence of the Armenian community in Ethiopia. Within the framework of the visit to Ethiopia R. Karapetyan met with Ethiopian Parliament Chair, FM, Ministers of Education, Finance and Economy, as well as representatives of the Armenian community of Ethiopia.
