AMERICAN HELLENIC INSTITUTE CALLED UPON U.S. CONGRESS TO SUPPORT ARMENIAN GENOCIDE RESOLUTION
In a letter addressed to Chairman of the House International Relations Committee Henry Hyde the American Hellenic Institute (AHI) called upon the U.S. Congress to support the Armenian Genocide resolution. AHI Executive Director Nick Larigakis stressed the necessity of recognizing the Armenian Genocide as the crime against humanity. “One should derive lessons form the past to prevent such cruelty and genocides in future. It is sad that the Turkish lobby with threats and blackmail presses for delay of the adoption of the bill,” says the message.
