ESTONIAN MINISTER OF POPULATION AFFAIRS REFUTES WORDS OF AZERI POLITICIAN
Estonian Minister of Population Affairs Paul-Eerik Rummo did not make any statement on “the refugees form the seized Azerbaijani territories and the territorial integrity of this country.” To note, earlier chairman of the Party of Democratic Reforms of Azerbaijan Asim Mollazade told Regnum reporter that he met in Tallinn with Paul-Eerik Rummo, who took part in the conference titled “Problems of Wider Europe: Belarus’s Future.” The situation in Azerbaijan, relations between Azerbaijan and Estonia as well as the Karabakh problem were discussed at the meeting. Mollazade assures that the Estonian Minister commented on “the refugees form the seized Azerbaijani territories and the territorial integrity of this country.” The Minister allegedly noted the intolerable living conditions of the Azeri refugees and the importance of territorial integrity of the country. “He called upon the international structures to do everything possible for the liberation of the Azeri territories and return of refugees to their homes,” Mollazade stated. As PanARMENIAN.Net came to know from Tsitsernak (Swallow) Armenian program of Estonian Radio-4, Advisor to the Estonian Minister of Population Olga Burmakina stated that Minister Paul-Eerik Rummo was not present at the above mentioned conference and never made statements of the kind. Minister Rummo considers the conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan to be worthy of regret, she said. Estonia always supported the peaceful settlement of the conflict within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group.
