ARMENIANS OF WROCLAW ON CONSTITUTIONAL REFORMS: CHOOSING WHAT YOU DO NOT KNOW IS INANE
Many Armenian citizens, who live in Wroclaw, Poland, will not take part in the referendum on reforms of the Constitution of Armenia, PanARMENIAN.Net correspondent reported from Poland. As it cleared out, most Armenians in Poland are not even familiar with the package of amendments to the Constitution, however they are sure these are not worth their votes. In the words of Armenians, many of which are engaged in trade, the trip to the Armenian Embassy in Poland, situated in Warsaw, will cost a significant sum. Moreover, customer higher activity is usually registered on Sunday, for which the referendum is scheduled, thus one may lose rather large income. «The old Constitution gave us nothing and we left our country exactly within the period it was in effect. We know nothing about the new Constitution and choosing something you don't know is inane,» an Armenian citizen living in Wroclaw told PanARMENIAN.Net correspondent. Meanwhile, the Armenian Embassy in Poland has provided for beneficial terms for all those wishing to take part in the vote. Specifically, if a citizen of Armenia is not registered on the books of the Embassy, on the day of the referendum a procedure will be held so as anyone, who submits an application, can take part in the vote.
