GERMANY'S NEW AMBASSADOR HANDS COPY OF CREDENTIALS TO ARMENIA'S FM
YEREVAN. - Germany's newly-appointed Ambassador to Armenia, Reiner Morell, presented the copy of his credentials to Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian on Wednesday.
Nalbandian noted that the Armenian-German political discourse and diverse cooperation are dynamically developing in the recent years. And he expressed a hope that Ambassador Morell will contribute to further expanding the partnership between Armenia and Germany, MFA press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
In his turn, Ambassador Morell highly assessed the interaction between both countries, and assured that he will exert efforts toward improving mutual relations.
Edward Nalbandian and Reiner Morell discussed the prospects for broadening cooperation between Armenia and Germany.
The interlocutors also reflected on the Armenia-EU cooperation along the lines of the Eastern Partnership initiative.
And as an important component of interaction, they noted Armenian peacekeepers' services within the German military detachment stationed in Afghanistan.
FM Edward Nalbandian and Ambassador Reiner Morell also examined several regional matters of mutual interest.
