1,013 VOTERS PARTICIPATE IN ARMENIAN PARLIAMENTARY ELECTIONS IN MEDICAL CENTERS
- 1,013 citizens participated in the parliamentary elections in Medical centers, Armenian Health Ministry's Chief of Staff Suren Krmoyan announced.
He added that 1,991 citizens were registered in the lists and according to preliminary calculations, 1,013 citizens have already voted.
Convertible ballot boxes have been taken throughout hospitals. Reporters, observers and parties' representatives were present at medical centers.
To note, all the voters who were hospitalized after the blast incident of Friday were able to vote at the hospitals.
Eight political parties and one block participated in the parliament elections in Armenia: Republican Party of Armenian, Prosperous Armenia Party, Orinats Yerkir, Armenian National Congress, Heritage Party, ARF Dashnaktsutyun, the Communist Party of Armenia, Democratic Party of Armenia and United Armenians Party. For entering a 131-seat National Assembly (Parliament), parties must poll over 5% of votes, while blocks - over 7%.
