US POLICE KILL ARMENIAN YOUTH
- A police officer in Los Angeles shot and killed a 22-year-old Armenian. The youth was North Hollywood resident Karapet Bulmajyan.
According to Joe Bailey, representative of the city's investigation service, the incident occurred on Sunday morning.
In his turn, Cleon Joseph, representative of Los Angeles Police Department, noted that the police had received a call, informing that someone was threatening the residents of a detached house.
And the police officers, who were dispatched to the scene, instructed Bulmajyan to put down his weapon, but he refused, approached the officers, and subsequently shots were exchanged. As a result, the youth sustained gunshot wounds and died on the spot.
