ARMENIAN MP CALLS TURKS IN PACE TO RECOGNIZE ARMENIAN GENOCIDE
- Member of the Armenian delegation in PACE, MP from Prosperous Armenia Party Naira Zohrabyan called the Turks in PACE to be the first to recognize the Armenian Genocide, Zohrabyan herself told the reporter of Armenian News-NEWS.am from Strasburg.
"Since morning the members of the Turkish delegation look depressed, devastated and dark. Maybe it is because of the discussion of the bill criminalizing the denial of genocides including the Armenian Genocide in the French Senate. During my speech I called to the Turks at PACE to be the first to recognize the Armenian Genocide," the MP told. "They should show enough courage to recognize and acknowledge that crime committed in the Ottoman Empire."

- 1923 Birth of Karp Khachvankyan (actor) in Akhaltskha (Georgia). He was known as the "Prince of Laughter". He died in 1998.
