OSCE/ODIHR FINAL REPORT HITS REPUTATION OF ARMENIA
The ANC Statement"The elections, which were held under an improved legal framework, were characterized by a competitive, vibrant and largely peaceful campaign, which was, however, marked by a low level of confidence in the integrity of the process. Some violations of campaign provisions by electoral contestants, including the use of administrative resources and attempts to limit voters' freedom of choice, created an unequal playing field and ran counter to OSCE commitments," states the OSCE/ODIHR final report on Armenia. This means that the OSCE/ODIHR observers did not recognize this election as compliant with the internationally acknowledged democratic principles. The report states a lot of cases of the use of administrative resources, multiple voting and vote buying. The OSCE/ODIHR Final Report badly hits the international reputation of Armenia and weakens Armenia in the negotiations for which the present government which totally rigged the election and denied the Armenian people their right to elect their own government bears responsibility.
