OSKANIAN: WE'LL BENEFIT

The Prosperous Armenia Party is entering the National Assembly with the same program it presented to the public during the campaign, said MP Vartan Oskanian. He said that they will try to bring change to the society calling things by their names. According to him, the PAP will be loyal to its pledges in the parliament. Asked whether the PAP will be opposition, Oskanian said they will be alternative to the ruling government. "We will keep to the constructive track. The fact that we failed to find common grounds to form a coalition with the government means we have different programs," Oskanian said. He says that the disagreement between them was mostly related to the content and not the offices. Oskanian did not answer the question whether the RPA had proposed coalition to the PAP. "It makes no difference who proposed," he said without clarifying which was the question they did not agree on. "No time to speak about the details". According to Oskanian, the parliament and the society will benefit from this situation. Today, we are close to having a real parliament. He also assured that there is no dissatisfaction in the PAP, the atmosphere is good. As to possible pressure on the party, he said they are not worried.
