DOES BAKO SAHAKYAN CONTRADICT?

July will be a dynamic month from the point of the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh issue. Levon Ter-Petrosyan's press speaker Arman Musinyan expressed this opinion on July 3, noting that it is predicted by the Medvedev-Obama meeting and the G8 summit. Musinyan stated that not pro-Armenian developments are probable from this point of view, because the Armenian government, in order to secure its home legitimacy, goes on compromises in connection with the Nagorno-Karabakh issue. According to Arman Musinyan, these proposals are those, which are on the agenda of the negotiations and in case they appear on a signed document, they may really be dangerous. In answer to the reporters' question, how the HAK treats the statement of the NKR president, who, during a meeting with the OSCE Chairperson-in Office stated that Karabakh has to be a full part of the negotiation, Arman Musinyan stated that it assesses this statement as positive. He stated though that only speaking is not enough, as Bako Sahakyan could settle this issue very easily, if he wanted, just forbidding Armenia to represent Karabakh in the negotiations. In this connection, the reporters noted that Bako Sahakyan, during the same meeting, stated that the Armenian Foreign Ministry manages to represent the Karabakhi interests very well. Arman Musinyan stated that in this case, Bako Sahakyan comes out to contradict himself.
