It is very surprising why Armenia connects its whole historic heroic past with the struggle against the Persian occupation. Was it worth separating form a country the traditions, the style of life and its potential for developing were so much alike the Armenian culture both from civil ad moral point of view. But there are two tangible differences alongside with this similarities: 1. The Persians do not like the Turkish music 2. Political dictatorship is reigning in Iran, while the governmental order in Armenia is neither dictatorial (which is good) nor political (which is not so good). The latest events in Iran proved that the dictatorships are losing their actuality. No one knows why, the local government is more afraid of the Iranian events than Ahmadinejad himself. First, because the destabilization in Iran is possible to destabilize our poor economic and political links with that country, and second this is a precedent, which the Eastern dictatorial governments are not able to govern under such conditions. The defects of the dictatorship have been much spoken about, but today, by the example of Ahmadinejad, we may speak about the resources of the dictatorship, which feeds and develops this regime. After all, many people voted for Ahmadinejad and the supports of the government are the followings: 1. Active religious propaganda, which draws a line between the Iranians and “non-believers”. This is a factor for conservative and struggling population and is Ahmadinejad’s firmest support. 2. The national doctrine, which draws a line between Iran and the Western world, preventing the U.S. invasions. 3. Ahmadinejad’s unyielding struggle against corruption and connivance. 4 The Iranian stable economic resource. This system feeds all the dictatorships. This is a struggle against equality and justice in the course of which the human rights are overlooked. Each dictatorship has one clear aim, on the way of which all the victims are justified. That is why the image of a dictator full of energy, hysteric, who does not care for his personal well-being, (very often a military) with beard is culturally drawn. Stalin, Fidel Castor, Ahmadinejad are little by little vanishing. Those, who are dreaming about a “strong hand” in Armenia, should forget this dream. There is not dictatorship for personal enriching, there is no dictatorship, in the ideology of which the dictators does not believe themselves. The possibility for our dictatorship is sentenced to the lack of ideas and inability to believe in them. And while the world says its goodbye to the dictators, dictatorships and their symbols of non-shaved militaries, we have to leave all the tries to have our own Comandante, moreover, none of our political figures have beards.
