ELECTION BRIBE AND SHUFUTINSKY ARE GENETICALLY INCOMPATIBLE, WHEREAS MOZART IS NO LONGER ALIVE

After the sudden death of the prime minister an important political event, which would be considered as one of the important political events in a usual situation, remained unnoticed. It is the election of the mayor of Armavir and the withdrawal of candidacy of Samvel Babayan, the leader of the Dashink Party. Both were unexpected. First, the society had expected that in Armavir, where the Republican candidate and the candidate of Bargavach Hayastan were the main contenders for victory, the BH candidate would win, ratifying the victorious nature of this party and confirm the anticipation for a victory in the parliamentary election. It is known, however, what happened afterwards when Shufutinsky stopped singing. The people of Armavir voted for the Republican candidate. Of course, they can say that nobody voted for this candidate, and everything was put up. And for Armenia, nobody doubts that it was a put-up job, especially after the media reported what had happened in Armavir. But if the BH Party did not lodge complaints and voice protest after the election, either the Republican candidate won “fairly” or everything had been “put up” at a higher level.
Although it is also possible that this is elementary psychology. The election in Armavir shows that it is wrong to distribute election bribes and cultural aid, such as a concert by Shufutinsky, simultaneously. Theory states that when a person’s quality of life goes up, his spiritual demands also get elevated. And it is possible that by helping the people of Armavir to live a better life, BH automatically improved their taste, and they do not like Shufutinsky’s songs any more. It does not mean that they like Arsen Safaryan, for instance, or the other local pop stars offered by the Republican Party. However, patriotism was perhaps stronger, and the people of Armavir chose ours of the “two evils”. Hence, the example of Armavir may teach a lesson to all the political forces: election bribes and Shufutinsky are genetically incompatible, whereas Mozart is no longer alive. Hence, excessive romanticism is only harmful. If a citizen of Armavir, for instance, wanted to listen to Shufutinsky, he would spend part of the election bribe to buy the CD of this singer, for he is already well-off, the citizen of Armavir, not Shufutinsky.
Generally, BH can draw a lot of conclusions from the election in Armavir. It is also possible that the victory of the political party in this election is not a goal set somewhere higher. Moreover, for the president administration, which is considered as the godfather of BH, the election in Armavir was a test on the ability of BH to find out if after months of charity and advertisement on TV the party can fight without scandals and major clashes against the administrative and criminal resource of the Republican Party without using its own. It became clear that the population has not managed to evaluate Gagik Tsarukyan the benefactor yet and is not ready to pay back his charity by forming squads of volunteers and invading their votes for Gagik Tsarukyan electoral district by electoral district. Meanwhile, Gagik Tsarukyan is not likely to protect its votes. Consequently, either in reality BH does not have the rating despite different public polls, which is advertised from morning till evening, or the statements of the BH leaders on protecting their votes are not serious, otherwise they would have protected those votes in Armavir. Bargavach Hayastan should protect its votes from the Republican Party which will not let the party falsify the election.
