PACE WILL ALSO SEND OBSERVERS

The delegation of the PACE will arrive in Armenia on May 12 to monitor the parliamentary election on May 12, the CoE information office in Yerevan told ARKA. The delegation of 41 observers will be led by Leo Platvoet, Holland, reporter on POWs and the missing for the South Caucasus.
Another PACE delegation of 5 will be visiting Armenia on April 10 to 13 led by George Colombier, France, reporter of the PACE Monitoring Committee, to observe the political situation in Armenia in the pre-election period. The observers intend to meet with representatives of political forces and the civil society. However, their visit will not be confined to meetings, and they will cooperate with the observers of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights.
