THE LONGED-FOR CONFERENCE OF THE BARGAVACH HAYASTAN PARTY

The longed-for conference of the Bargavach Hayastan Party took place on February 15 at the hall of the government. It is the third conference of the party but the first under the aegis of the leader of the party Gagik Tsarukyan. The conference is interesting because it precedes the parliamentary election, and the Bargavach Hayastan Party is going to participate in it successfully. The party will run for parliament alone, without allying with other forces, said Gagik Tsarukyan, the leader of the Bargavach Hayastan Party, in his address. This statement was not unexpected. Generally, during the conference, despite the expectations, nothing strange happened.
The hall was full as it had been expected, although other parties also manage to have full house. It was not unexpected that impressive and expensive booklets had been prepared for the media and the participants, which contained information about the activities of the party. Perhaps it was unexpected that the leader of the Republican Party Prime Minister Andranik Margaryan was among the guests of the Bargavach Hayastan Party. It was unexpected that during the July 22 conference of the Republican Party the Bargavach Hayastan Party did not have representatives at all.
The rest was in the classic style of conferences - greeting speeches, forming of task forces and the speech of the leader of the party. The speech was ordinary. The points of the speech were known to everyone who had watched the TV reports on Gagik Tsarukyan's meetings. The theses pronounced during these meetings had been summed up in a 10-minute speech.
“I'll try to be short tomorrow, because you know I am a man of business,” Gagik Tsarukyan began. The leader of the Bargavach Hayastan Party stated again that he did not set up the party for a government office, he does not want to solve personal problems, he wants to create a strong, sustainable and prosperous Armenia. “We have kind and honest aims, and God is with the fair,” stated the leader of the Bargavach Hayastan Party. He says they appreciate achievements, economic development in the country and will make efforts to make it sustainable. “It is universal truth that if a man has a job and can sustain his family, the country can overcome every challenge it gets. Because with a strong family the country is strong too. The nation which has strong families is strong,” Gagik Tsarukyan says. He said one of the underlying problems of the party is the revival of the village, the farmer will have the support of the Bargavach Hayastan Party and will be in the focus of attention of the party.
With regard to foreign policy, the Bargavach Hayastan Party, according to Gagik Tsarukyan, will pursue the international recognition of the Genocide, European integration, relations with strategic partners and the self-determination of the people of Karabakh. “We must have a strong stance in all the processes for the settlement of the right of the people of NKR to be free and independent,” Gagik Tsarukyan says. He also states that they appreciate the role of the Diaspora in the establishment of our state and emphasize the relations with the Diaspora.
In the end, the most important. Gagik Tsarukyan prefers a free and fair election. “We will run in the election with the awareness of our strength and trust in our supporters and good faith for a free and fair competition with all the political parties. We respect our opponents and are ready to cooperate to guarantee a free, fair and transparent election. There is no other way, only a free and fair election. Other tracks would lead the political sphere of Armenia to destruction,” says the leader of the Bargavach Hayastan Party.
According to him, the Bargavach Hayastan Party does not need others' votes, and they will defend their votes. Gagik Tsarukyan says, they have real opportunities to win the election and have significant importance in public administration without underestimating the other forces. Gagik Tsarukyan says it is a matter of honor and dignity to keep the promises of the Bargavach Hayastan Party.
