ARMENIAN NATIONAL CONGRESS ENDORSES RAZMIK DANIELYAN

The election of mayor and council of the town of Sissian is on October 12. All the ruling parties – the Republicans, the Orinats Yerkir Party, the ARF Dashnaktsutyun and the Bargavach Hayastan Party – have nominated candidates, plus the incumbent mayor whom some high-ranking officials are backing. The only oppositionist candidate is Razmik Danielyan. Razmik Danielyan has higher education in law, has worked in the system of internal affairs for about 30 years, has occupied responsible positions. He has never been member of a political party. In the past nine years he was the head of the detective department of the region of Syunik. He was dismissed on March 6, 2008 in connection with the events of March 1. He has a big family, he is respected person. In the election of mayor of Sissian the Armenian National Congress endorses Razmik Danielyan and appeals to the people of the town to vote for the representative of the Congress.
