THE GOVERNMENT DOES NOT HIDE ITS REAL ATTITUDE TOWARDS THE SOCIETY

The conclusion on the pig jaw and calf tongue which the law enforcement bodies set forth regarding the footage of the events of March 1 is evidence that the government is really treating the society as pigs and calves. It may sound rude but it will never be all that rude than when it is uttered about killed people. Certainly, the law enforcers do not say directly that those killed had a pig jaw or a calf tongue, what they say is that the images in the footage have nothing to do with those killed. However, this is already evidence to the negligent attitude that the society has towards the society and its every separate representative. However, it is possible to understand the law enforcers. Perhaps they are aware of the crime they committed against the society, and now they are trying to cover up the crime at any price, even mockery. It was useless to expect the law enforcers to confess that the system treated so cruelly at least one demonstrator on March 1. The case with the body called the ad hoc committee to study the events of March 1 is another problem. Each member of this body is not only convinced that they have never ever committed a crime against the society but also confident that by their mere living they do a great favor to the society, and if they study March 1, it is already a national heroism for which a monument should be erected to them. And now those committee members with this conviction in their heart calmly accepted that what different representatives of the system, including the high-ranking police officers told them. It seemed that the committee set up to study March 1 should have erased all it had studied before or should have started everything anew or should have stated to dissolve, and the members of the committee should sue the law enforcers for hurting their honor and dignity. However, this did not happen because the purpose of the committee is to save the system rather than their own honor and dignity. And in order to do that one should wear a serious expression on their face, create a shrewd and thoughtful expression, lean their back a little to symbolize the burden of the nation’s tragedy, straighten the eyebrows to symbolize neutrality of the stance, not to let anyone feel whether the member of the committee is laughing, smiling, surprised, and only then appear to the public. Besides, it is worthwhile that the committee makes a correction in the preliminary conclusion which they are going to publish. It is worthwhile that the committee advises the citizens, especially the politically disobedient and active citizens, as the only useful point of the conclusion, to have their blood, jaw and tongue examined in case they are going, or intend or consider it possible that they may ever go on protest against the government. It is necessary to find out before the protest whether all they have is human, that is the blood is not paint, the jaw is not a pig’s and the tongue is not a calf’s. The point is that it may turn out that all those things on them are not human, in which case those who will be studying their murder during the peace full rally will be misled. JAMES HAKOBYAN
