DASHNAKTSUTYUN WILL NOT BREAK ANYONE’S HEAD
In an interview with the Turkish Radical newspaper Serge Sargsyan said the authors of non-civilized occurrences in Armenia during the visit of Abdullah Gul to Armenia will first of all deal a blow to him, because he had sent the invitation to Gul. On August 29 the reporters asked Deputy Speaker Hrair Karapetyan, ARF Dashnaktsutyun, about his attitude towards Serge Sargsyan’s statement, considering that the ARF is preparing anti-Gul and anti-Turk actions. Hrair Karapetyan said despite statements on readiness to improve relations with Armenia, in reality Turkey has not changed, it is the same, and the purpose of the actions of Dashnaktsutyun is to remind about that. However, the actions of protest of the ARF Dashnaktsutyun will not be uncivilized, Hrair Karapetyan states. He reminded how in an international conference in Turkey Gegham Manukyan from the ARF who participated in it held up posters of protest. Hrair Karapetyan said it is a civilized form of protest. Karapetyan said the same will be in Yerevan but the actions will be more powerful. The member of the ARF Dashnaktsutyun said they are NOT likely to break someone’s head. Hrair Karapetyan also said that independent from being part of the coalition or not, the ARF Dashnaktsutyun is the party which has principles which it will not renege on.
