AND HOW MUCH IS SERGE SARGSYAN’S?
Member of Parliament Hovanes Margaryan, Orinats Yerkir Party, stated August 29 at the Hayatsk press club that the coalition agreement does not mean that one joined the other, that is it does not mean that the Orinats Yerkir Party has joined the Bargavach Hayastan Party, or the Bargavach Hayastan Party has joined the Republican Party. Hovanes Margaryan stated this in answer to the question if the activities of the coalition satisfies the Orinats Yerkir Party after joining one another. Hovanes Margaryan said a document was signed in which the four parties expressed their common approach towards the development of the country, and put their signature to a document to act together. The member of the Orinats Yerkir Party made another interesting statement, noting that the program of the coalition involves over 90 percent of the program of Arthur Baghdasaryan. The question occurs whom the other 10 percent belongs. Or since the Republican Party states that the government program is based on Serge Sargsyan’s election program, Hovanes Margaryan’s statement means that Sargsyan’s and Baghdasaryan’s election programs were actually similar. As to the rate of implementation of the program, Hovanes Margaryan first noted that there is little time to implement all that is involved in the coalition memorandum. Besides, Margaryan says, considering the political life in the country and the tension in the region, the rate of reforms set down in the coalition memorandum is satisfactory.
