BEN LADEN’S ACHILLES’ HEEL

Recently the Americans have handed over to the ad hoc committee of the Armenian parliament to inquire into the events of March 1 the methodology of the committee which inquired into 9/11. No doubt, the Americans did it out of the kind intentions, to raise the effectiveness of the activities of the committee. However, it is doubtful that the effectiveness of the committee will rise. Moreover, the opposite may happen. The point is not that the members of the ad hoc committee will start looking for the place from where the planes appeared and plunged into the peaceful demonstrators. The point is that the American methodology may lead the Armenian inquiry in the wrong direction, for the simple reason that the issue, evidence, situation, participants are different from those of September 11. On September 11, for instance, the planes which struck the skyscrapers and the Pentagon had not been dispersed from the aerodrome by the police in the morning, after which they flew and launched a spontaneous operation against the U.S. government. And the U.S. government had not tampered the votes of the planes, and they did not go on a lasting peaceful protest demanding reconsideration of that fraud. The crowd in the skyscrapers on September 11 had not had any contact, relationship, problems, demands, obligations with the terrorists which perpetrated the murder of thousands of people. On September 11 the American police, army and special services at least appeared to guarantee the security of people and were not deployed against people. The members of the committee which inquired into September 11 had not participated in the ratification of what happened, unlike the members of the Armenian parliament committee who ratified within a few minutes on March 1 the actions of the government which led to victims, and are now studying all that. They ratified and now they are studying. In this context, the American methodology cannot help the society get a credulous conclusion and evaluation of the tragedy from the committee but may help the committee to escape the difficult situation, finding out through a skilful handling of the American methodology that Al Qaida is responsible for the tragedy of March 1, and the organizer and instructor is not Robert Kocharyan or any other government official but Ben Laden. Afterwards the Public Television will reveal a footage in which Ben Laden will confess that all this time he was silent because he wanted to do a fruit and flower revolution in Armenia, and therefore he did everything to have the Armenian government appear to be guilty for March 1. But since he was unable to hide from the sharp eye of the committee for March 1, which was helped by the Americans, now he has to confess that he had ordered to fire at the peaceful citizens, and his right and left hands carried out the order. Hence, the parliament committee to inquire into March 1 will make its conclusion. It is not important that the society may not believe it at all. It is important that America will be satisfied with the conclusion, and will state that the Armenian government made progress toward not only the revelation of March 1 but also international war on terror. The fame of the Armenian parliament committee will spread across the world, and the members of the committee will get American grants to deliver lectures in different countries of the world on the topics “from methodology to revelation”, “wish is nothing, method is everything”, “Ben Laden’s Achilles’ heel”, “cherchez Laden” ad other interesting topics.
