CONSTRUCTIVE OPPOSITION BY SERGE SARGSYAN
Recently on Serge Sargsyan has dwelled on “constructive opposition” different occasions, listing among them the SIM Party. On July 19 the meeting of the board of the representatives of this party took place on which occasion the information service of the SIM Party issued a news release headlined “SIM Evaluates 100 Days from the Point of View of Constructive Opposition” from which we cite the following passage: “Acting as constructive opposition, the board of representatives of the SIM Party also expects that the permissiveness for the radical treacherous “opposition” will end, and at last the main wrongdoer of the outrageous planned provocation of March 1 will be brought before justice. Extreme tolerance for the forces undermining the fundament of the state, the brazen behavior of those carrying out the order of the “orange” revolution, the blows to the national ideology and national dignity may be interpreted as the inability of the government to confront external and internal challenges.” This is the how Serge Sargsyan imagines “constructive opposition”.
