WILL THE MANAGER AGREE TO STAY FOR FIVE MORE YEARS?
In a meeting on July 17 the Armenian government modified the decision on the concession on management of Haypost CJSC. According to the modified decision, the manager of Haypost presents reports on on a yearly rather than a quarterly basis, the salary of the manager is paid in AMD rather than euros, and from the assets of the company. It is foreseen to increase the powers of the manager, empowering the manager to choose the auditor, the setup of representations and branches of the company, affirmation of their terms of reference, review of their expediency and dissolution. Considering that the program on the activities of the manager is for a term of ten years, the government wishes to reach agreement on prolonging the term of the concession for another 5 years.
