IN WASHINGTON FOREIGN MINISTER MET FRIED AND BRYZA
- The foreign minister of Armenia Edward Nalbandyan visiting Washington met with the U.S. assistant secretary for European and Eurasian affairs Daniel Fried on July 16. During the talk they discussed the agenda of the U.S. and Armenian partnership, security and stability issues in the region, as well as the prospects of improvement of the Armenian and Turkish relations. On the same day Edward Nalbandyan met with the OSCE Minsk Group co-chair Matthew Bryza and discussed the details of the talks for the settlement of Karabakh, the results of the recent visit of the co-chairs to the region, as well as the possibility of a new meeting of the foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan.
