A VERY DANGEROUS PERIOD FOR ARMENIA

Now it is a very dangerous period for Armenia, and the problem is not Raffi, the action of one person or the behavior of one person, said Raffi Hovannisian, leader of the Heritage Party, member of the Armenian delegation to the PACE, who boycotted the PACE session. Raffi Hovannisian who was hosted at the Hayeli club on July 7 was asked to comment on his step. He says the entire society of Armenia must worry about the state of democracy in Armenia. Hovannisian said the lack of lawfulness, legitimacy in Armenia affects external issues, evidence to which is the PACE resolution on Azerbaijan when Europe determined democracy in that country by the restoration of its territorial integrity, or the declaration signed by the presidents of Russia and Azerbaijan by which internationally recognized borders are indivisible or the statement of the PACE president in Baku who described Karabakh as an occupied territory, according to the Azerbaijani press. According to Raffi Hovannisian, the Armenian delegation invested all its resource, potential to make the resolution on our country a little acceptable, meanwhile if Armenia is a democratic state, our delegation could be rather effective and could compete with our neighbors in the region, and would not be measured by the same scales. By the way, Raffi Hovannisian says when the PACE president arrives in Armenia next week, it is worthwhile to ask him based on what facts he considered Karabakh as an occupied territory. As of now, Armenia and the PACE do not deserve each other, and I am sorry about that, Raffi Hovannisian says, noting that he is going to do everything to have Armenia return to Europe as a democratic country.
