THE DAY OF PROCLAIMING THE CONGRESS IS CLOSE
The establishment of the Armenian National Congress is on the way, said Levon Zurabyan, representative of the Center of the Popular Movement, on July 3 at the Friday Club. He said the political forces participating in the Popular Movement are involved in a debate now. “During the debates proposals were offered. No political party has said against the Congress. Everyone has their vision. Simply it is regular that it is not easy to reconcile all those visions for a joint project. Negotiations, consultations continue, and step by step we are going nearer to the moment of proclamation of the Armenian National Congress,” Levon Zurabyan says. He says that day is close. The reporters asked if the Congress may be proclaimed on July 4 during the rally, Levon Zurabyan declined to answer any questions concerning the rally, and said everything will become known on July 4.
