READ PACE RESOLUTION ATTENTIVELY
One of the notable demands of the PACE resolution 1620 is to refrain from undue constraints on rallies and their venues, said the member of the Armenian delegation to the PACE Davit Harutiunyan in a news conference on July 2. In this connection, the reporters asked him about his attitude to the decision of the City Hall not to authorize rallies on the central squares of the city, and this time the offer of alternative venue, the area near the Republic Stadium. Davit Harutiunyan said he is not aware of the reason of refusal regarding the central squares of the center but he advised the authorities, including the City Hall, to read attentively the PACE resolution which provides a distinct explanation regarding the recommendation not to impede rallies.
