NEW CHIEF OF THE POLICE WAS APPOINTED
On May 29 Serge Sargsyan released Haik Harutiunyan from the duties of the chief of the police, the press office of the president reports. On the same day the head of state appointed Alik Sargsyan, the governor of the region of Ararat, as the chief of the police. The chief of the police Alik Sargsyan was awarded the title of Major General.
