ALEXAN HARUTIUNYAN WILL NOT RESIGN
The president of the Public TV and Radio of Armenia Alexan Harutiunyan said he is not likely to resign. “The demands that I resign were heard from the opposition for a number of times but I want to remind that I was appointed to this post for a term that ends in 2013. If nothing happens by that time, I am not likely to resign or change my job,” Alexan Harutiunyan said. He also said he is not likely to make any replacements in the Public Television, and the expected changes are organizational and technical. “If the opposition wishes to make a change, they had better do it together with me rather than without me,” Alexan Harutiunyan advised.
