200 BEAUTIES FOR MISS ARMENIA 2007

On September 8 the first round of the beauty contest Miss Armenia 2007 was launched in Yerevan. Over 200 beauties from the regions of Armenia and Artsakh are participating in it. The head of the Miss Armenia National Agency Karen Aristakesyan said in a news conference before the contest there are more participants in 2007 compared with 2006. He said with a joke it might be because the Armenian girls have become more beautiful. Karen Aristakersyan said 25 out of 200 will be chosen for the final round of the contest. The beauties must be 168 cm tall, of 90-60-90 size and have a level of intelligence, which will be measured in an interview. The judges are members of national and international agencies, model agencies, performers. Karen Aristakesyan said the girls are so beautiful that more than 25 may be chosen for the final. Miss Armenia 2007, as well as the other participants who will win titles will stand a chance to take part in international contests.
