ARF DASHNAKTSUTYUN RETURNS TO OLD ELECTION SLOGAN

The media reported that the ARF Dashnaktsutyun, like the Republican Party and the Bargavach Hayastan Party, is gathering the passports of citizens. According to the same information, in the region of Aragatsotn the governor Gabriel Gyozalyan, ARFD, is in charge of this activity. The leader of the ARFD parliamentary faction Hrair Karapetyan denied this information in a briefing on March 23. According to him, presently the ARFD is busy gathering facts of breaches related to the election. “When we gather sufficient checked facts, we will submit them with the Police and the Office of the Prosecutor General.” Hrair Karapetyan states that they will turn to the law enforcers before the election.
Unlike the other forces of the coalition, the ARFD already has an election slogan. The ARFD believes that the society and people especially remember the slogan “Old friends never betray”. Therefore, the party decided to run in the parliamentary election of 2007 with the slogan “Dashnaktsutyun is our old friend”.
The Republican Party has not chosen a slogan yet, stated the leader of the Republican faction Galust Sahakyan during the briefing. He also said that the principles of the Republican Party have not changed. By the way, in 2003 the slogan of the Republican Party was: “Trust our mind and power.”
