GOVERNMENT’S WORK IS NOT FAVOR BUT DUTY

The secretary of the Republican faction Gagik Melikyan confessed on January 17 at the Hayeli Club. His sincerity must be appreciated, of course, but it does not have a logical basis, which was noticed by Hovanes Margaryan, member of the Orinats Yerkir faction who held a debate with Melikyan at the Hayeli Club. Hovanes Margaryan says the government should not present the efforts for reduction of poverty and actions against corruption as a favor. “It is the duty of the government,” Hovanes Margaryan says.
Gagik Melikyan says if they did something, they did together because they were in the same coalition. “If there were mistakes, everyone is responsible for them,” Gagik Melikyan says. However, Hovanes Margaryan says they voiced concern about the mistakes of the Orinats Yerkir when they were in the coalition, and they left the coalition as soon as controversies occurred in this connection. By the way, Hovanes Margaryan says people could not be indifferent towards this “sincerity and honesty” and trust the political party. Hovanes Margaryan says the number of members of the Orinats Yerkir Party has increased up to 85 thousand.
Gagik Melikyan states that his political party has only 50 thousand members but this is a real number and they can prove it. And evidence to this is the parliamentary election and the Republican will make efforts to have more seats in the parliament., Gagik Melikyan says. The Orinats Yerkir Party will be doing the same. Hovanes Margaryan says the Orinats Yerkir Party will have a considerable number of representatives in the National Assembly. Both the Republican Party and the Orinats Yerkir Party will run in the election alone although Hovanes Margaryan says it is possible that they consider alliances until the election, but this is a decision to be made by the political party.
