On July 21 Chairman of the Temporary Committee investigating the tragic events of March 1-2, 2008, Samvel Nikoyan met with the Director of the political and economic programs of the US Embassy Steve Beneks.
Samvel Nikoyan introduced the works of the committee, putting emphases on the publicity of the committee’s activity and attached importance to the implementation of the works deriving from the clauses of PACE resolution 1609.
Director of the political and economic programs of the US Embassy Steve Beneks gave positive assessment to the activity of the committee.
According to the agreement with US State Secretary’s Assistant on Human Rights issues David Cramer the methodology of the committee investigating the terror of September 11, 2001 has been transferred to Armenia.
