If you are an officer in the army then you should know that your only responsibility is to protect the country and its people from external enemies. Politics is not part of your duties so I would recommend that if you want to get involved into politics then take off your uniform and join the political arena. Armenians might have a chance to approve or disapprove (if they are given basic freedom to express their will) your political jargon mr. officer.

    PHILIP
YOU ARE CORRECT I ALSO HAPPEN TO THINK THE SAME.FOR THAT SAME REASON MANUEL GRIGORIAN AND THE DIPLOMATS SHOULD HAVE NOT INTERFERED AT ALL.PARTICULARLY LTB SHOULD HAVE NEVER ANNOUNCED THAT THOSE GUYS WERE ON HIS SIDE . IT CHANGES THE PICTURE OF DEMOCRACY INTO A PICTURE OF CONSPIRECY.

Arshak I think your statement (lost homeland) is somewhat over exaggerated,
nevertheless if that is how you feel then good for you. Concerning the photo unless I am totally blind, I see a two star general. Don't you Arshak?

I somewhat agree with Babayan's statement. However, this is the same person who last year noted that the next president should be anybody biut a karabaghtsi. He himself a Karabaghtsi noted this statement due to the increased anti-karabagh sentiment among the Armenians in Armenia. However, Babayan later retracted his statement and aligned his "Dashink" party with the hanrapetakan.
PS: The Davitashen military base just before the elections were called up by their commander and told the following: "The elections are coming up, and you know who to vote for...Hanrapetakan" This is a recollection of a insiders account of who was told to vote for a specific candidate.

Dear Philip. That's an old photo... it's not even in color... When he WAS in the army. You're not blind He's in uniform alright, BUT in the photo... NOT in today's reality... NOT NOW. We have this "Tradition" I always see an old man's obituary in the paper the guy died at 80, the picture they print shows 30... No Your eyes are ok....
