In an interview that lasted more than two hours, RA President-elect SERGE SARGSYAN yesterday gave answers to around 80 questions asked by our citizens and Internet users
Touching upon the probability of having a dialogue with Levon Ter-Petrosyan, he mentioned,
“I have never been against any dialogue. But a dialogue is always addressed to certain people, i.e. it is definitely known who is to talk to whom. If Ter-Petrosyan is going to continue insisting that he has been elected a President by 65 percent of votes and refuse to accept the decision of the Constitutional Court, if he is going to consider me a gangster and a Mongol-Tatar, is there a possibility for a dialogue? If the approaches are different, my approaches will be different too. ”

Why don't you accept an independent investigation to be run for the elections and the results? This is what the majority of Armenians want as well as human rights organizations, OSCE, foreign governments imply, Armenian organizations in diaspora etc. The verdict of the Constitutional court of Armenia cannot be free and fair for a number of reasons primarily due to the state of emergency. I am afraid that the end result of your stubbornness to remain in power and rule by fascistic KGB tactics will be detrimental for the future of the Republic of Armenia and for the welfare of the Armenians.
