POST-ELECOTRAL POLLS
As we know, “Populous” company conducted new polls after the elections.
The first question to the voter was which candidate he/she had voted for. As informed by ANDREW COOPER, Head of “Populous” company, 53 percent of the respondents answered that they had voted in favor of Serge Sargsyan. This corresponds to the official data published by the Central Election Commission (CEC), with regard to the number of votes obtained by S. Sargsyan.
“According to our polls, only 20 percent answered that they had voted in favor of Levon Ter-Petrosyan”, Head of “Populous” company said. He also mentioned that in fact (based on the CEC official data), 21.5 percent of people had voted in favor of this particular candidate.
