OUR CANDIDATE GAINS A VICTORY WITH THE COGENT VOTE OF THE ELECTORS

“How would you portray the election returns? Are you satisfied with them?”
“We are completely satisfied with the election returns, because the Republican Party and all the other political powers endorsing Serge Sargsyan managed to perform the task that we have set, that is, to win at the first stage of the elections. We are pleased with the unprecedented active participation of the voters. Around 1 million 700 thousand citizens or 70% of the voters participated in the elections. This means our candidate gained a victory with the cogent votes of the electors.
And the thing that happened with all the other eight candidates running behind him was a bit surprising. But it was also not less surprising that Levon Ter-Petrosyan and his team managed to take the second place. Which means, their aggressive campaign based on falsehood, in essence worked.
Around 350 thousand compatriots actually voted for Levon Ter-Petrosyan. In this sense, I think the authorities and first of all the newly elected President, must be concerned about the fact that, a significant part of the voters made a muddle of things. “
“Witnesses of Levon” don’t have any intentions to put up with the idea of their defeat and are ready to transfer the electoral battles to the post election field. Are you ready for similar developments?”
“ Of course we are ready. You are well aware what methods our rivals chose to struggle against us during the pre-election period. Even during the day of voting the developments were rather interesting. After giving his vote the first President modestly announced that he would gain a victory with 99% votes. Meanwhile he spread information by the press belonging to him about scuffles, election bribes, pressures, etc.
Immediately after the ballot boxes were closed, at 20.01 they published the results of an exist poll conducted by a de facto not registered organization. At night they announced that they have gained a victory and they will never allow others to “steal” their votes.
Next day, at 11.00 a.m. they announced about their rally, but because that day only 100 people were gathered in the square they were roaming in the city by their cars and hunting people, to be able to hold a more or less crowded rally at around 3 or 4 o’clock and solve the issue. We have information that many people have participated in that rally and the so-called protest march for mercenary motives. And the most ridiculous thing is that, yesterday LTP’s headquarter demanded to annul the elections and to hold new elections. A question arises here – in that case where are the 99% votes gained by Levon Ter-Petrosyan and Alik Arzumanyan’s congratulations on the occasion of their victory. Which means their announcements are quite contradicting, because they are in panic. They are simply trying to create intrigue for the “critical masses” on the one hand and for the foreign powers that pin their hopes upon Levon Ter-Petrosyan on the other hand. But, unfortunately the latter didn’t manage to justify these hopes.”
