Currently, all the possible tribunals are flooded with information on electoral wrongdoings reported by the campaign headquarters of L. Ter-Petrosyan and Arthur Baghdasaryan. As to how misinformation is cut and pasted, it becomes clear at least by the example of this case.
Sona Trouzyan, Press Secretary of the General Prosecutor’s Office, says that the campaign headquarters of “Rule of Law” party yesterday gave an alarm call on an incident of stuffing the ballot boxes in electoral precinct No. 13/16. Ivan Asatryan, representative of “Rule of Law” party, was referred to as a source of information.
While the alarm call was being checked, I. Asatryan refuted the fact of stuffing the ballot boxes and mentioned that he had received the information from the observers of “Heritage” party. Later, however, Nazik Ohanyan, “Rule of Law” representative in precinct electoral commission No. 13/16, informed him that there had been no incident of stuffing ballot boxes in the above- mentioned precinct.
