WHY TO PROVOKE ANTI-KARABAKH PSYCHOSIS

In recent times we often write and speak about many cases of black PR used by different presidential candidates during their pre-election campaign and we have also brought concrete examples proving the before mentioned fact.
But the most dangerous and unacceptable thing is that the key point of ex-President Levon Ter-Petrosyan’s pre-election campaign is to propagate anti-karabakh moods among the most apolitical part of society. Which means to sow enmity and hatred towards a certain part of Armenians, thus disrupting the nation.
Disintegration has always been our sickness, which is very difficult to heal, but on the other hand it is very easy to inflame it and use for the benefit of your own political goals. But, if a political figure, whose goal must be uniting the nation, is irritating the old sickness, then his expectation of short-term success will have long-term destructive consequences, for the whole country.
It is obvious that it is always easy to mislead those who live in not very favorable social conditions by using bad language about the “new comers” and lay blame on them for your failings. Once, it was by this trick that the black campaign in Russia and the Gables’, in Germany were a success. Everyone is well aware of the tragic consequences of the before mentioned campaigns, because not only have “new comers” who turned into a target of the campaigning suffer, but also the powers that provided their short-term progress, by such dirty technologies.
In our reality, the daily-level campaign, especially in capital city Yerevan, against “the new-comer authorities”, especially those from Karabakh has turned into a real psychosis.
By means of well-known methods of infusing hatred towards others these people are trying to convince the narrow-minded people that those who came and “occupied” their city are the reason of their problems.
By their propaganda against Karabakh people, in all the streets and even the yards in Yerevan, Armenian Pan National Movement is becoming more and more dangerous.
Isn’t it clear that Ter-Petrosyan’s political team and their campaigning machine go beyond the permissible limits of internal political struggle, by their dissentient policy of creating hatred between the two parts of the same nation.
And what are Armenian intellectuals doing, when every day they hear similar advocacy, which can be destructive for a nation, that is actually in a period of war, for a nation which has liberated Karabakh at the cost of blood and has transferred the behest of unification to the coming generations.
What generation can grow in the condition of such advocacy? And what will do the young man who is being convinced that the people of Karabakh, a country that has been liberated at the cost of his fathers’ blood, are worse than Turks.
The desire to come to power at the price of sowing enmity among the two parts of Armenians can’t be considered a manifestation of an internal political struggle, it is rather playing into the hands of the enemy, making their future plans easier to implement, and anti-state attempts to decay the roots of the army.
All the intellectuals of Armenia, and those who consider themselves not from Yerevan, or from Karabakh or from Gyumry but first of all Armenians and citizens of the Republic of Armenia must do their best to hinder this process.
