ARTHUR BAGHDASARYAN’S PRE-ELECTION TRICK

In a meeting held on the Theatrical Square on February 3, presidential candidate and “Rule of Law” leader Arthur Baghdasaryan announced that threats had been made against his personality, and his life was in danger. Let’s note that he has submitted no written notice about this either to the Prosecutor’s Office or to any other law enforcement agency.
Therefore, based on the publications of the press, the General Prosecutor’s Office has charged the Police with the task of initiating investigative operations for checking the circumstances of A. Baghdasaryan’s statement and taking relevant actions.
The Police are already conducting an investigation, and A. Baghdasaryan has been invited by the Criminal Investigation Department to give an explanation. But he hasn’t appeared there so far, whereas the invitation was made with personal security considerations.
This time, the Police have sent him a written notice. But the candidate whose life is in serious danger has announced that he will go there in two days, i.e. on February 7.
That means Arthur Baghdasaryan has absolutely no problem in terms of his personal security, despite the statement he made during the meeting. This testifies to the fact that nobody has threatened him, and nothing is threatening him. The presidential candidate representing “Rule of Law” party was just using a political campaign trick.
Or, he has seriously decided to sacrifice his life for the sake of Armenia and doesn’t want the Police to stand in his way.
