NEW PROVOCATIONS EXPECTED

“Repeat the lie thousand times and it will be taken as the truth” – guided by the following clause LTP’s pre-election headquarter made their announcement, as usual diligently hiding the reality.
The announcement runs the following: “Armenian power of chieftains, terrified of the more and more powerful process of Levon Ter-Petrosyan’s pre-election campaign has started to take provocative, illegal measures.
The activists of the headquarter were irritated because of the incident in Talin, where one of the commanders of Artsakh liberation movement has been beaten by the activists of Armenian Pan National Movement, only because he said that Talin, softly speaking, “is not with Levon”.
Ter-Petrosyan’s activists evaluated the before mentioned incident as “a provocation instigated by the government in power.” As they state: “ already famous S. Karapetyan enkindled this scuffle, after which the law enforcement bodies took the activists of Talin pre-election headquarter to the police station, thus, in essence, paralyzing the works of the headquarter.”
So we can draw a conclusion that during Levon’s rallies it is prohibited to express any attitude that is different from LTP’s official standpoint. Any manifestation of the variety of ideas is observed as “ a provocation instigated by the government in power” and is liable to be punished by “scuffle”, with average and grave trauma, depending on the degree of the social danger caused by the act.
Second: the law enforcement agencies are prohibited to take the activists of LTP’s pre-election headquarter to the police station and to demand explanation regarding their rude behavior. The organizations serving Levon Ter-Petrosyan’s “victorious campaign” are very fragile and it is very easy to paralyze their work.
The next “brutality” of the “power of chieftains”, according to the authors of the announcement, is the following: “ On January 28, the employees of Kapan police station have forcibly closed Levon Ter-Petrosyan’s pre-election headquarter, in essence paralyzing the activity of the headquarter.”
But what has actually happened? According to the Public Service of the Police Station, by deception a group of people rented the house of Kapan inhabitant, A., located in Shahumyan 2, 38, “after which they opened their pre-election headquarter in the house. A. appealed to the police station to help him return his property.”
On January 28 the police station received an alarm call, about the scuffle between the activists of the headquarter and the owner of the flat. When they arrived at the scene of action the police officers threw the activists out of the house and freed the “disputable territory”.
But the most interesting thing is that the ex-President is absolutely not interested in the Constitutional right of the citizens to rent their property by their own will.
Thus the complaints of Ter-Petrosyan’s staff are not exhausted. On January 27, at night, “unknown people” tore LTP’s poster, located in Arabkir”. Who are these “unknown people”? Was this act initiated by the “power of chieftains” or it was a personal initiative of those “unknown people”, “in essence to paralyze the activity of the headquarter? The activists of the pre-election headquarter didn’t give any answer to this question.
Instead they started to yell, that: “ around 150-200 cars participating in the march have been illegally taken to the penalty area.” The organizers of the march thought the employees of the police patrol will neglect their service obligations and silently observe the 150-200 cars “in essence” paralyzing the already tensed Yerevan traffic.
By the way the activists of Armenian Pan National Movement intimidate that the arsenal of the provocation is not exhausted and the: “ State of chieftains will shoulder the responsibility of the unpredictable consequences.”
So let’s wait for new provocations full of quite predictable “unpredictable consequences.”
