TER-PETROSYAN AVOIDS LIVE BROADCASTS
Mr. Ter-Petrosyan and his team have already managed to flood all the international structures and observation missions with complaints that they are barred from appearing in TV broadcasts. As to the Public Television and Radio Company, it is totally prohibited from allocating airtime to Ter-Petrosyan.
It turns out, however, that Mr. Ter-Petrosyan himself refuses to appear on air. For instance, according to an agreement reached last week, Mr. Ter-Petrosyan was to be the guest speaker of “The Fourth Studio”, a program broadcast by H2 TV Company. However, a day before the broadcast, his headquarter informed the TV Company that Mr. Ter-Petrosyan was reluctant to appear on air, and they sent Aram Zaven Sargsyan instead of the candidate.
As regards the Public Television whose impartiality is especially questioned by the Armenian pan-National Movement, L. Ter-Petrosyan was supposed to be the guest speaker of “Europolice” program yesterday; however, a few hours before program, his headquarter contacted the Television and reported that Mr. Ter-Petrosyn would not participate in the live broadcast. He couldn’t go there because he was busy.
Well, it is possible to understand Mr. Ter-Petrosyan. What he needs is an exclusively “sterile” airtime requiring payment, so as he will be free to use foul language. Whereas any direct contact with the reality is dangerous, because for all his demagogy, L. Ter-Petrosyan does not have the answer to certain questions.
