THE PLAGUE CAN SPREAD
“I must emphasize that the swine’s’ African plague is a sharply contagious disease. It can be spread through different ways and it is not excluded that in future we will have new hotbeds. International organizations helped us; we have corresponding disinfectant stuffs and equipments, transportation and experimental sample means. We have already taken experimental samples from two provinces and have sent them to the Russian Federation, where in a very short period of time they confirmed our diagnosis. Today we have sent experimental samples to Great Britain, in a couple of days we will probably get an answer.” Chief of the Food Safety and Veterinarian State Inspection under the Ministry of Agriculture Grisha Baghiyan informed our correspondent.
